District and school staff greeted 8th grade families on February 5th for a presentation on the transition to high school.
As summer comes to a close, Trumbull High’s new class of 2028 has just begun their exciting high school journey!
Led by THS Link Crew leaders and staff, the new freshman attended an orientation on August 21st before the start of the 2024-2025 school year, helping them get acquainted with and feel comfortable at THS.

Ten students, inspired by their love for poetry, have begun meeting on their own and celebrating their passion for poetry.
We are proud to announce that five students from the Trumbull High School Class of 2023 were named National Merit Finalists.
To be considered for a Merit Scholarship award, Semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the Finalist level of the competition. In September, our students were named Semifinalists in the 68th annua l National Merit Scholarship Program. About 95 percent of the Semifinalists are expected to attain Finalist standing, and about half of the Finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title. Our students are now in considerat ion for 7,250 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $28 million offered this spring.

On December 6, 2022, the Trumbull High School staff presented a general information session for families to learn more about the new bell schedule for the 2023 -2024 school year.

On January 26th, Trumbull High School’s We the People team took home the state championship. After an entire semester of rigorous training and preparation, the team of 26 students continued Trumbull’s winning legacy.
